We found in preparing that many web pages and shopping sites left us asking what now. they were beautiful , however we could not find contact info or ameans to share with friends. When we contacted some designers those that did send us information, had images that were not showing up in emails! many had spam filters (forget that spam Gates) on the public contact info!

Getting ready takes work and some designers are better prepared than others! The fact is we all need to start somewhere. The truth is I should just be able to say send me your package and you send me a link! as it is WE need to face the fact that this is a weak link… so we will work to get this right! The truth is you should determine what info you need! I”ve put together a guide for designers in our program.If you are interested in getting your selling together Fill this out form!
At the end of the runway, trade show, shopping party make sure that your potential customers has info( Please note actual info is available to participating designers only1 contact us about Sew Social
When and if they contact you make sure you are prepared to follow up! Tell them what productsor services the designer has available and be prepared to make an offer that is enticing! whether they qualify as Trade or Consumer, make sure it is easy for them to buy from you.
Tip:- extending your reach with short URls, QR Codes and mobile enabled pages!
We understand that technology is a bit intimidating that’s why we develop and or support initiative that explore the use of technology in fashion.
We prepared a section for designers in the program and After discussions with some Fashion and event promoter we will explore making this available on a wider basis. At the end of the runway:-
